Asymmetric Pastelized

I really am addicted to pastel colors.
You may say lemon, peach, pearl pink, lavendar / lily, mint, and another faded-pale-alike colors.
They're hypnotizing me everytime i look at 'em.
I cant stand not to buy one of those nail polish colors when i meet em at the store displays.

For me, The FaceShop and Revlon have the best pastel colors ever.
I can fit my daily clothes' colors with their colors well.
And this time, i try to combine not only one or two colors at my nails but three!
I got ---> Jaded from Revlon, Creme from The FaceShop, and Pearl Pink from The FaceShop also.
I mix all three of em to enhance each nail of mine.
I make the design asymmetricly, and VOILA!
I really love em :D

How to make em?

1. Put the Jaded (mint) color into your nails as the base-color.
2. Apply the Pearl Pink to cover half of the Jaded, you can apply it perfectly with some helps of tape / nail tape.
3. After they dried, apply the Creme color at the tip of your nails. It's about a half of the pearl pink.
4. Voila! They're ready now! :D

Shining and Gleaming

A couple days ago my friend gave me a link to see a blog (or a web page i'm not really remember that) via twitter that contains about nailart & nail tutorial .. I loved THAT LIKKA LOT!
I was so pleased and enjoying my time to see from post to post to pay attention to the nails-designs created by the blog owner. She must be born with sucha genius brain. Simply she can make me undestand every tutorial even she make it in sucha very simple way. How could that be T_T
And finally i had my eyes ancored onto one design. It was a gradient nailarts design that made by hand pr you can call it manually (not stickers)..
I was very curious to try it as well but with a slightly different way.
So this is how my nails be...

Its color inspired by SNSD's costume and concept for "Diamond" song last christmas (you can see the video here),

my nails are shining.. my nails are gleaming.. yeaaaayy :D

 

And this is the tutorial, step by step to make this Gleaming Nails ;)

1. After you apply the base coat, polish your nails with a natural pastel color. You may choose milky white, chocolate milk color, or light brown nail polish.

2. Apply the sparkling nail polish on half of your nails. And after it dries, polish again but only half of the area (so it's gonna be 1/4 of your nails) to make the gradient effect.

3. Last touch, top coat to make it more gleaming!

Tadaaaaaa!

I Mustache You, Nails

Seems like everyone is now really familiar with 'mustache' emote and the cartoonized ones.
These cute mustache no longer describe masculinity and not only men can used that.
Women and especially tumblr lovers are startin to use this mustache icon in all of their attributes, 
you may say mustache tees, rings, bracelets, pendants, hair clips, bags, cups, glass, cakes, and many many others..
They're even cuter in every vintage angle pictures,
me love it too ;D

Mustache in dictionary can be describe as facial hair grown on the outer surface of the upper lip.
It may or may not be accompanied by a type of beard, a facial hair style grown and cropped to cover most of the lower half of the face.
And now mustache is get even  more popular than ever not only because of its basically used to but because of its cuteness and compatibility to be paired with any-vintage and girl-thingy...

And for you nailarts-worm, i got some inspirations for you.
You can use stickers or paint it by yourself..
The point is just you have to 'mustache' your nails! ;)

La Faibles Fleur

This last few days i felt kinda fatigue. So much work had to be done by myself but in the other hand i dont even have enough time to rest. Sometime i have to sleep at 5 am and woke up at 7. So exhausting. 
I became very tired and my weight drop. I feel very weary and weak.

And last night i had to do a mockups of Malioboro for my final task that need to be presented today. Glue was on each nail of mine. i was so weary and upset. i felt like i wasn't able to keep my nails huhuhu  :(

i had to clean up my nails that I made with my grandmother yesterday T_T
Because i was annoyed with my broken nail art, so i replaced it. 
I change the previous jaded color into a milky white color from FaceShop.





 
This color is so representing me right now. 
I was so vulnerable, my body aches and my head dizzy to complete all my work bzzzzz
And to put some positive energy here i stick some flowers stickers that blend perfectly with the base color..
It turn my mood 180 degrees! I feel a lil bit cured just by seeing my newest nailart today..

So now lemme share this serenity with you, my sworn readers ;)

A while ago i received some messages on facebook and email, asking me to make a tutorial on how to make each nail art that i post in this blog. For you girls' information, i really bad about explaining something. I really really want to made you a tutorial even for every single detail but i really dont know the best phrase to tell you clearly T_T hahaha
I'm about to make a tutorial video but unluckily i dont have any handycam or kinda thing to make a clear video. So now maybe i'll try to tell you with the simplest words (it's gonna be my first tutorial maybe) so i hope it's clear enough for an amateur like me :p

This how to make my 'La Faibles Fleur' nailart :)
1. make sure your nails are clean enough to apply the base coat
2. after apply the base coat and its already dry, start to apply the base color (in this post, and you may try it, i'm using milky white color from FaceShop)
3. after the nail polish dried, stick the flowers sticker at the end / inside tip of your nails, i mean not in the middle or in your nail outside tip
4. make sure that the stickers are sticked well and the nail polish dried enough so you can apply the top coat
5. DONE! your nails are now ready to mesmerize the world <3

Last week some friends ask me to make their nails (as usual)
and we did it at our studio hours.
It was fffun!
That day i'm done with Kadek, Novi, Tiki, Tissa, Icha, Tika Laras, and also Kiki's nails...
hfff a lil bit exhausting but finally i really love how Tissa's phone capture every nails and post it into her instagram ( @tissaflo ) :D

These are the masterpieces of the day, instagramed nails are just too adorable <3
Let's start with Tissa's!

red with milky white dots cant even being prettier,
her vintage necklace match so well with the theme :D

Icha with her Lily colored nails, and also her special hair that day (FYI she's almost never take any tail for her hair, she love to just let em covered her rounded face :p)

And here is it, the one who officially ask me to made her nails up that day, Tika Laras :D
and i'm done with hers after applied the cherry-red with black line, hope you like it, Tik!
