Braided Nails

I've been being so curious about making a braid.
Since when i was a little girl i always ask my grandma (because my mom can't did any kind of braid and tail) to do my hair. And she like to made my hair braided.
Jusk like the other girls, i loved it!
And recently, on nails blog, tumblr, pinterest, and some instagram's pages, i often see a braid inspired nail.
From what i've learned, it usually needs at least 3 colours of nail polishes.
And it usually just done on thumb and ring-finger.
Because if you apply the braid on all of your nails, they're gonna be seen so 'crowded' and some flaws may make it even worse.
So, because this is my first trial of it, i make the braid only on my thumbs and ring-fingers..

And as usual, i made the step by step.. and also as usual, i've already done with my nails so i made it on a paper.. i hope it's clear enough to see :)

Can you make one to on your nails?
It needs patient and a-really-really-careful left hand to make it.
That's why i also make it only on my four fingers, and for the other six, i choose (again and again) my favorite colours, Jaded from Revlon. This mint colour just toooo good on my nails, at least that's what i think hahaha
Anyway,
you can use glitters and lining to hide the flaws if you can't make it as tidy as what you've seen..
maybe next time i will make the example for the lining and also glitters, just wait ;)

Cross Cross by Check Check

Last month my friend celebrated her 21st birthday and her friend gave her a set of Check Check Nail Kit by Face Shop.
Ew so lucky! And she got confused how to make a nail-art by those transparent nail polishes.
That's why yesterday she brought it up with her when she came and sleep-over at my home.
And after check the whole package of it, we could find the user guide there. Just right behind the package -__-

Because it was also the first time for me to make that kind of nail-art (okay it's nail-painting again also) and also the first time i was using that kind of nail polish. I've never used any kind of transparent nail polish before.
So i was just following the guide. It's my nails, Icha's, and also Tiki's nails that became my experiment last night.
But yeaaaay, i did it (almost) well. It looks good but a little bit awfull in some parts. You should know how hard it was to make the crossing patterns.
And it was really late when i tried to paint those nails, the hardest part was when i had to hold my drowsiness huhu

Luckily, the nails were done well!

Happy birthday again, Icha! Maybe it was my personal birthday gift for you, special nail-art, made with full of struggle! :p

And as always, i also make the step-by-step but i dont think it's clear enough. I just hope you can understand and try the better one on your nails :)

before you start the steps, i remind you that i was using white nail polish as the base colour so the transparent colours look better.
1. apply the colour line by line. it takes so much patient so i hope
you have thousands of it to make the straight one.
2. make an opposite directioned line after the base colour dried.
3-4-5. make the other opposite directioned lines on it until the whole base lines covered.
DONE!

p.s. it was really hard to make my right nails with my left hand. pffftt

Think Pink

22th years ago, a woman that now i call mom always wondered to have a baby girl.
She imagined how cute it's gonna be if she could have someone to be dressed, went to salon together, played the hair, and had a gossip before sleeping together.
And since that time she always hope that she would have a girl, not a baby boy.
She did that, think pink! And tadaaa! i'm here to grant her wish, heheheheheh :p

As a girl, i love pink too. I make my room as pink as i can. And when i was a little girl i always wondered to have a pink car but dunno why i dont think so now :p
I prefer 'normal' colour anyway.. hahahaha But that wont reduce my love to pink! I still buy and make anything around me in pink colour.

So does my nails.. I have 3 kind of pink in my nail polish collections. It's dark pink or kinda magenta.. pink.. and baby pink or pastel pink.. I just can't avoid pink nail polishes everytime i see it at the stores. When i see kind of pink colour that i haven't yet, i'll just grab it.

And one of the pink nail polish that being my favorite is baby pink from The Face Shop.
The colour is soooo cute. It's not too dark or too light.
It's just adequate, i love it!

So, in my spare time, i found a pink lace sticker for nails at the bottom of my collection.
Because i was too bored to do anything so i just make my nails up to boost my mood up too.
And i choose my Baby Pink from Face Shop to beautify my nails, and voila!
It's just beyond adorable ;)

Just like my mommy, i wish that one day i'll have a cute baby girl.
i just can't resist my imagination about how lovely it is to decorate the whole room with pink colour and preparing pink baby clothes.. hihi :D

So, is there anyone of you wanna have a baby girl just like me? Let's think pink ;)

Daisy Nails for My Blooming September

"The flowers that bloom in the spring,
Breathe promise of merry sunshine
As we merrily dance and we sing,
We welcome the hope that they bring,
Of a summer of roses and wine,
And that's what we mean when we say that a thing
Is welcome as flowers that bloom in the spring..."

Helloooo..
I cant belive it's September already and i've been in my 3rd year of studying architecture here.
And to start this new semester freshly, i wanna make my nails kinda flowering!
Since i get kind of nail-painting-addiction, i insist not to use any nail sticker but i wanna paint the flower by myself.

For the color, ummm, i think i still in love with pastel and pale colors.
and since i need some fresh touches, i decided give some yellow and pink here.
but i a lil bit confuse to choose the base color, i really want jaded and lily (it's mint and light purple) but i dont want to combine it at the same time, sooooo..
i make it in different time, first i make my daisy nails with Lily by Revlon .. it's sooooo calm and settle.
I really like it but i think it's still fresh-less, you know the color is too dreary.. it's kind of toneless..
but actually, overall, i loveeeee it !

Here my Lily Daisy Nails...

What i use to make my Lily Daisy Nails:
Base & Top Coat by Revlon | Lily by Revlon | Jaded by Revlon | Soft Pink by Face Shop | White by Stroberry

so, whatcha think? i think my Lily isn't that bad, it's just too toneless to call it "fresh-start"
and for the comparison, here, i proudly show you this!
My Jaded Daisy Nails...

What i use to make my Jaded Daisy Nails:
Base & Top Coat by Revlon | Jaded by Revlon | Electric Yellow by Revlon | Soft Pink by Face Shop | White by Stroberry

And this time i also make a simple step-by-step tutorial for you to make kinda this Daisy Nails just like mine :D
So, are you interested? Here are the Step-by-Step..

1. Apply the Base Coat and after 3 minutes it dries, apply the nail polish
that you want to make it as the base color for your daisy nails.
2. Make the petals by a dotting tool, the size is up to you, but i prefer to
make the little cute one, so in one nail i can make 2-3 flowers.
3. While waiting for the petals dry, make the white dots arround the flowers
to fill the void at the nails. I used the smallest dotting tools to make the
    white dots.
4. After the petals dry, make the flower stalks in the midle of the petals.
the pink-yellow colors are beyond adorable awww :D
5. For the FINISH touch, apply the Top Coat, i'm using Revlon's Top
Coat. Still the best one i've ever try.

So, What do you think is the best? Or you just love both of them? eheheheh :p
Dont waste your time not to make it, girls.
Make one of it at your nails! Let em bring the flowers into your nails so you can feel the spring tide just by seeing your nails!
Happy September! <3

Tell Me Your 21st Wish...

This August 26th is gonna be my 21st birthday.
I'm sooooooo excited that i have so much wishes.
Maybe if i write em down it's gonna be ready to be published as a novel hahaha
As a normal human i got thousands wish on my mind..
But this year at least i have 3 things as my wishes, i hope there's a genie that can hear me :p

1. Rilakkuma (anything related with Rilakkuma! I just got a sudden fever of it!)
2. Purr by Katy Perry
3. OPI New York City Ballet

and my extra wish it that i really hope my boyfie can come to my house and we can meet at the day..
but i dont think he can make it.. he's now at his hometown, gathering with his family and he planned to come back just one day after my birthday :(((

Sooooo.. that's why this time i want to make kinda meaningful-pretty-nail-painting..
it's a special nail-painting for my 21st birthday huehehehe

This time i will combine 3 pastel-pale-colors with 1 also a pastel color to combine the 3 colors...
The 3 colors as the base color represent my 3 wishes.
And 1 color to combine em all represents my wish that i really hope my boyfie can make it to come earlier :(

So, here they are what i need to make the painting :

And here they are! My dreamy nails..
I'm telling my wish just by painting my nails ;)

To make this adorable pastelined-painting these are the Steps-by-Steps :

1. Apply the very first base color, mine is baby blue. Then apply the second base color, baby pink.
2. At the tip of the nails, apply mint or jaded as the final color.
3. Make the dots by using the creme color as the line among those basic colors.
You can use the smallest dotting tools to make it.
4. VOILA! It's done! Dont forget to apply the top coat to make it gleaming ;)

Now they're ready!
At least these dreamy nails will accompany me at my birthday :')

And this is a lil extra tip for you if you have a trouble with your tidiness while you're painting your nails,
you can use cottonbuds and nailpolish remover to neat it up :D

Good Luck, Lads! :)
