My Very First (and So Late) Tribal Nails

Maybe for some of you (especially nailart artist and bloggers) Tribal is like.. so-last-year already. But for me, after about 4 years loving and making nails, i never try any tribal because i still choosing what kind of tribal and how to make a good one. Because there're sooooo many example of tribal nails and patterns on the internet so i try to understand first, what's tribal exactly means. So far, the only thing that i know about tribal is, it's an art pattern from aztec tribe. Yeah, inspite of it's right or wrong, i've tried one finaly! hehe

My tribal nails consist of 3 basic colors and 2 lining and dots colors. The basic colors are pink, blue, and yellow. And for the lining and dots i'm mostly using black and white so the basic colors wont be offset by the lining or the dots. So, here they are!

So, what do you think? I just pick randomly from google and from some different nailarts and applied it also randomly on my nails so that's how it turns out. I hope they look good :p
And this time i also make the step by step, so check this out:

And these are what i need to make my tribal:
White basic - Alpine Snow from OPI
Pink - Baby pink from FaceShop
Blue - Jelly Blue from Pokari
Yellow - Electric Yellow from Revlon
White and Black dots and lining - White and Black Dotting Pen from Faceshop

And i also make my right hand, it was soooooo hard! My left hand was shaking really hard that made me think that it's not gonna be turned out well.. buuuut, you will never imagine how happy i was after i saw my 5 right nails were much better than my expectation, here they are..

So, is there anyone of you that haven't try tribal mani just like me before?
I hope my step-by-step can help you or maybe inspire you. Good luck! ^^

the pattern has 3 colours of dots, they are dark blue, brown, and red. They're printed perfectly on baby pink. Because i planned to wear it oftenly, i did my nails just like my sweater. So you may call it sweater-inspired-nails :p

The polishes that i use to did it:
OPI Sweet Heart - OPI Alpine Snow - Dark blue polish from FaceShop - Cherry Red FaceShop - Slate from Revlon
The tools:
Dotting tools only.

My Polkie Dolkie November

It's already in the middle of november. Seems like time run faster than i thought. And i have soooo many waiting lists for my blog post. Because my internet connection down really often this last couple days but in the other hand i kept making nailarts, so that's why it happened -___-
For this post, i just choose randomly from my 'upcoming post' folder.. and ta-daaa! My polkadots nails post was choosen. So here it is!

If you see this post you may think it's just a common dots with pastel colours just like what i usually did. But if you notice, i make the dots and the base colour by some pastel colours. Not only one or two but three, baby pink, lilac, and white. As far as i can remember, i've never did something like this before. And this time, i make the dots smaller than what i always did. Do you realize it? :D

Here they are my baby-mani for my november, polkie-dolkie!

I make this mani as simple as.. it's like.. umm how to say it? The point is this time i want to make a really simple mani but i still can enjoy the colour and how the dots perfectly spreaded on every nail. And i think i did it, because i can stand with this mani for couple days (almost more than a week) without thinking to change it.. hehehe
Because sometime, the most precious design is the simplest one. It's not about how much you spent for the polishes, or how complicated your design is.. it's all about the happy and joy feeling everytime you make your nails. It's too priceless to be payed with anything ;)
