BURBERRY Manicure

Hello ladies, it's been a few weeks since my last post. I've been so busy but luckily this week i have extra holiday because here in Indonesia we have Nyepi (hindus feast) so in this long weekend i'm trying a new nailart which i've always wanted to try on my nails for a long time. It's BURBERRY pattern manicure.

Burberry has a unique pattern which is easily recognizable, so i thought to make nailart patterned like this brand.

And come examples i got online from google, flickr, pinterest, and some youtube tutorials really help me to make this manicure. Here's some example that i got on the internet (really sorry that i dont remember where i got it, i've searched it for so long time ago, just tell me if you own there pictures i got below)

And from these pictures above, i think i need to make some differences. First, the pattern looks like need an extra concentrate and patience which i really bad in it hahaha. So i try to combine between 'complicated' and 'easy'. I mean, i wanna try to combine between 'the pattern' and 'the colour'.

Second, if i do all of my nails with the pattern, it's gonna be look kinda 'crowded' on the five nails. So i think it's better if i have 2 nails as 'balancer' of the pattern. I will apply just a plain mani with one colour. But the colour needs to be strong enough to balance the pattern in the 3 other nails.

So, here's my version of Burberry manicure...

The nail polishes i need to make this manicure are (from left to right) :

+ Sheer Rose - Revlon

+ White colour - The FaceShop

+ Black dotting pen - The FaceShop

+ Fire - Revlon (applied by the tiny brush i got from KS Nailart)

And how to do it is very simple and i'm 100% sure that everyone of you can do it by yourself!

p.s. what you need is just the polishes, the tools, and patience, trust me ;)

This is the step by step how i do mine :

1. Apply the base-colour (Sheer Rose-Revlon) and make the cross pattern on it with the white polish (The FaceShop)

2. Make the black line with black dotting pen (The FaceShop). It's 3 horizontal and 3 vertical lines.

3. Last, make the red line by the fire polish from Revlon. Make 1 horizontal and vertical line each and make it until it looks like what i do on mine on the picture (crossing line)

We Will Never Too Late For Christmas

Hello ladies, first of all i wanna say merry christmas and so terribly sorry for this really late post :(
i was having a very bad cold couple days ago and couldn't manage myself to do the post.. but like what everybody said: it's never too late for christmas! I hope it's true so you can forgive me to post my christmas manicure today (it's already xmas +4 days).
ps: i hope you still have your christmas tree stands and your fireplace still burning so the christmas and the winter atmosphere are not over yet when you read this post :p

Btw, this year i have 3 designs of christmas manicure. They are: Minions, Basic/standard design (like santa, rudolph the reindeer, etc), and last The Christmas Tree. The reason why i make 3 designs is because i really confuse to choose on of them. I got many inspiration from Pinterest, instagram, and many blogs that show so many gorgeous christmas nailarts. So i do all that i love to do on mine hehehe

Here they are my 2013 Christmas Manicure, The Minions, The Christmas (Basic) Atmosphere, and The Christmas Tree!

For the nail polishes i use to do my entire christmas nailarts this year, i think it's also my fault that i completely forgot to take a picture of them, but what i remember so far these are what i used to do those 3 designs:

1. MINION
- Yellow : Electric by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- Red : Fire by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- Green : Emerald by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- White : White nail polish by The FaceShop
- Black : Black Dotting pen by The FaceShop

2. CHRISTMAS (basic) ATMOSPHERE
- Yellow : Electric by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- Red : Fire by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- Green : Emerald by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel
- White : White nail polish by The FaceShop
- Black : Black Dotting pen by The FaceShop
- Brown (reindeer face) : Dulce de Leche by O.P.I.
- Light brown (Santa face) : Sheer Rose by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel

3. THE CHRISTMAS TREES

Am I Too Late for Halloween? Let's See My Manicure's Trick (or Treat)

Halloween, or as it called from Hallows' Evening or Hallowe'en, is an event or a celebration in every night on October 31st when people wearing scary mask and costume and of course do the 'trick-or-treat' tradition. In Indonesia, very few people who celebrate Halloween so i decided to make my own Halloween on my nails. And because there are soooo many inspiration i could get from my Instagram fellows, i did 3 designs this year. From the very-black one until the colorful one. Let's check my nails out, but wait, i know i really am too late to post my halloween nails but is it really no treat for me? No candies and chocolates? Oh please, so let's just see my tricky nails... Boo!

Oh before we get into the manicure, let's see the 'scary' ingredients i needed to made my halloween nails:

THEY'RE REVLON CUTEST COLOR! So how do they become scary? Let's do em with some scary skeleton wooohoooo~

 

 

And my second halloween manicure was a lil bit so-into-halloween because of the black color and the skeleton (ps. they're scary i hope you wont affraid of em :p)

And last but not least, i think it's gonna be incomplete if i didnt make a jack-o-lantern as my nailart this year, please, no orange pumpkin means you're gonna be having an ilegal halloween, FYI.. hahahahaha

So, here my nails with the jack-o-lantern and also bring the monster up! (because green for monster is mainstream, i choose yellow as the color of the monster, still scary i hope :p)

Despicable Me-Nicure (Minions)

Now tell me, how many of you who can't wait for Despicable Me 2 which is gonna be on theater on July 3th? I just can't wait so i decided to follow the trend to make the minions manicure :p
As you know, there are so many people try to make this nailart because minions are sooooo adorable, dont you think so, huh? I've seen so many minions on the nails on Instagram, pinterest, and also some nails blogs. So this time i want to make my minions!

Minions (in general meaning) are followers devoted to serve their master relentlessly. In this movie, they are imaged as little creatures with silly, funny, and also obedient characters.
They steal so many hearts because of their appearance and especially, their heart-melting-face-expression, in this movie and make us can't wait to meet em again at the sequel!

Heho, ladies! One of my favorite brand of polish was holding a nailart competition and tomorrow the finalists are competing in Jakarta, Indonesia to show their talent at nailart-ing.
