Happy Happy Happy New Year 2014

Happy new year guys! Wow it's now 2014 already! My favorite question to all of you is:
what's your nails looked at the eve? You did your nails for the party, didn't you? :D

I really had a great time with my second family, they're my best friends and some college friends at the NY-Eve. We spent the night at a guest house in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It's so traditional and heritage. The architect who design the guest house itself is my uncle and also the father of one of my best friends hehehe
and the point is, the eve was great because the place was awesome too!

Back to my nails, i do a black-gold and it's kinda inspired by the sparkling stars and fireworks at the new year eve. How about yours? Let me show you mine first anyway... here they are.....

For the base coat i'm using The FaceShop base coat polish. And the base color, the black one, i'm using 'Mistletoe' by Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel. And to do the golden splash in the corner, i draw the pattern first by white polish and a tiny brush then cover it with gold polish.
The white polish i used was 'Alpine Snow' by O.P.I. and the gold one was 'GoldenEye' by O.P.I.
And for the final touch i did it with The FaceShop sparkling polish (the code was SL211), it makes the black looks more sparkling and looks like the sky with thousand stars, doesn't it?

To make it clear, i think it's not enough with just words and sentences, here they are the step by step illustrations, have a try and good luck!

And anyway, just like what i said before, i spent the new year eve with some friends at an adorable traditional heritage guest house, here are some pictures from the guest house.

How I Love 2013's Night Sky

Hello! Happy New Year everyoneee!
It's been couple days since my last post right? It's because i'm so busy with my final essay. It really is take my time :(((

But, even it's already late, but i hope it's not too late anyway, hahaha
i'll show you my new year nails. I did it at December 30th i think.. i prepared it for the new year eve :D
Galaxy Nails!
Yeaaayy and yes you're right! this is my very first time doing it so i thought i would messed em up.. but, i was wrong. It was so easy that i didnt find any problem on doing em.. *super-proud-nailartist* hahaha

So, what makes me doing this so-yesterday-manicure for the very-new-year?
You know, first reason is, i always curious to make it, second, i really miss SNSD's 2011 tour that i saw at Singapore last year that had a galaxy-alike-concept :(

This following pictures are my favorite. They look like stars with their shining costumes and dark setting behind. Soooo fabs!

And here they are, my galaxy nails and how i really get inspired by the Triangulum Galaxy.. it looks like dancing stars among dark, yellow, and pinkish skies.. so lovely..
So, i really made my galaxy a lil bit pink and yellowish..

If you're confused, it's right that i made my galaxy nails twice. First i made it for the new year so i put the 2013 on my ring finger and the glasses on my thumb. And after that i re-make em and put the stars on em without the new-year-atmosphere. Which one do you like the most between em? :D

And i also give you kinda step-by-step even i really am sureeee that the other's tutorial videos are much better, you can find em at youtube, pinterest, or something like that if you want ;)

I Wish You A Merry Christmas

Finally, Happy Xmas everyone! i've been waiting to post this, and how about you? Have you seen some of the teasers of this post on my Instagram feed and Path? If you havent it's okay because you can see it here :p

I especially made a christmas edition mani for you! And i really wish that you'll have a happy and merry christmas day *hugs and kisses!*
and how about you nails, have you all made your nails for the day? Have any problem with dont-have-any-inspiration thingy? So maybe this post will answer you problem ho ho ho

This time, i'll show you my two version of christmas-nails. You know, first i tried to make a red-xmas-nails. So i was only use OPI The Spy Who Love Me as the base colour and for the pattern i drew it with dotting pen from FaceShop. Actually it wasn't that bad, but i just dont think it's good enough :p
This is how my red xmas nails turned into a cute mani (i almost thought it was soooo damn good and dont want to change it ever ever again! hahaha)

What do you think? Good enough, huh? Noooo, just wait until you see my second attemp..
I make it more more colourful than the first one.
This time i also used OPI Alpine Snow as the base colour. And i also drew reindeer, snow man, snowflake, christmas three, and SANTA CLAUS! Favorite man ever, i always wonder if he does really exist in real life hahaha
Here how i did my nails for this xmas event and finally i satisfied with my job. You know it needs 3 hours to thought about the concept, what to drew on each nails, and the painting process itself. But i'm glad it turned out sooooo cute! I should thanks this christmas atmosphere that really bring me a really good idea for my mani :D

And voila! The face behind the nails, hahaha let me wish you happy christmas.. from Santa Lady! :p

And this time i was also wearing a pretty collection from Marie Antoinette's Window, i'm soooo in love with the dresses and their details. They're just so into the christmas' atmosphere, arent they? <3
